to bobboroberts : Interesting! My daughter in law was actually with the "other airline" (Virgin - aptly named!). My son knew what went on and knowing how "hot" she was, turned a blind eye to her activities. If she went to the Caribbean with overnight stays it was a "bad trip" if she used her own allocated bed.

to rubberrat : I was away in Bermuda with the RAF in 1982 about 350 of us in a large hotel. Third night in we’re in a bar in Georgetown and the BA crew come in. Before they’d ordered a drink one of the trolley dollies (blonde, slim beautiful) turns to the crowd and lifts her skirt to flash her shaven fanny. “Who wants this tonight?” she asked and various hands go up. She picks out Stan our scruffiest airman and beckons him join her. They leave after a couple of drinks and Stan’s dreams come true. They flew out next day. I’ve never seen that happen again in all my worldwide travels. She nearly caused a fucking riot and our officers were well miffed. Stan gave her a proper banging by his account.
